A Documentary Wedding Photographer based Newcastle.
I help couples in the North East capture authentic, joyful wedding memories — naturally, creatively, and with personality.
So you’ve made it this far and are probably wondering who the bloke is that takes these awesome wedding photos.
In a nut shell I live in a beautiful part of the North East with my gorgeous wife Louise and equally gorgeous girls Phoebe & Georgie. Some of my favourite things in life include my family, friends, football, Star Wars, coffee, chocolate, ice cream, sunsets, festivals (can only last 2 nights on a flat airbed in a damp tent), holidays, a good party and of course photography.

About You
You care about the people, the atmosphere, and the moments that happen naturally — the laughs, the nerves, and everything in between. You want photos that feel real and bring the day back as it actually was, not overly posed or forced.
You want a few must have family photos but not too many that it hurts to smile, while you would love some natural, relaxed portraits of you both and maybe even a sunset photo or two.
In essence you want a stress free, relaxed wedding where you can have fun, be yourselves, and enjoy your day without feeling like you’re on a photo shoot.

How I can help
I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if you’re not used to it. No awkward posing, no pressure — plenty of space to be yourselves. On the day, you can expect someone calm, and friendly, blending in with your guests rather than taking over. Before and after the wedding, I’m there to answer questions, offer advice, and make sure everything feels straight forward and stress-free.
My Style & Approach
I’ll document your wedding so that it tells a story of your day. Basically that means being as discreet and unobtrusive as possible however I will offer direction on any any group or couple photos as required. I wont take you away from your guests for hours on end and generally recommend 10 or 15 minutes to capture any family photos. I’ll make sure I’ll capture all those little details, venue photographs, and candid moments that make your wedding unique to you.
Punchy colours and emotive black and white photographs make up my editing style which is both timeless and natural that won’t date as the years go by! So if you are wanting a photographer that can produce amazing work, has numerous years experience, and also has canny banter (according to many previous couples) then get in touch and tell me all about your plans…..I’d love to hear from you!
